Going Out and Glasto!

Good morning all!

Sorry about the lack of posts over the weekend, it's actually been my birthday celebration weekend as next weekend i'm off to Budapest with the boyfriend for the actual event so things have been pretty hectic!

I've had three of my best old university pals up and the standard friends so have been pretty busy keeping everyone entertained.

Completely forgot to take a decent photo of what i was wearing so here is one where i am slightly worse for wear but basically im wearing a misguided dress i got in the sale and am old Marks and Sparks clutch bag :)

After a pretty messy Saturday night we got up at 8am for the Glastonbury bedlam!! After 1 hour and 35 minutes of trying (the tickets sold out 1 hour and 40 minutes in) we got a phone call from my boyfriend's friend Rob saying he had managed to get through! 

Did anyone else try for Glastonbury tickets? And more importantly did anyone else get them? I went in 2010 and 2011 so this will actually be my third visit and I'm so bloody excited!!!!

Finally i used some more of my new models own nail varnishes :) I'm absolutely loving them but it does mean i keep changing the colour of my nails. The blue is one of the Balearic Cool and the green is Jade Stone.

Finally after being a HUGE fan of Taken i went to see Taken 2 and it's bloody rubbish. Just feel grateful that the girl get's taken early on in Taken one as she's a bloody horrific actress.

Got That Boom Boom Pow!!!

 Mua Lip Boom Review OMG Shade

Right if you read my blog regularly you will know I have high ends tastes on a high street budget so after hearing loads of rave reviews about MUA products i decided to pick up the Lip Boom product.

The product claims to give you big lips and like most women this is always something i desire :)

It's come with a lipstick and a lip gloss and this little lip balmy thing on the end which i found pointless and didn't use.

I used the OMG shade and to be honest though it actually looks ok in these products I wouldn't purchase another one. The lipstick went on really bitty and didn't leave a smooth finish on my lips. The gloss smells horrible (like marzipan) and felt really really gritty.

I use a lot of Mac lippies but have found some cheaper brands recently that i've been loving (Model's Own, Rimmel and Barry M) but i'm completely put off the MUA lip range after using this product. Saying that I have got a MUA lipstick and pencil i will use later this week :)

Overall i suppose the moral of this story is you get what you pay for! :)

Mini Haul and Last Chance to Enter

First of all i'm supposed to not be shopping until after my birthday but couldn't resist a few naughty purchases today :S!!

The scarf that everything is laying on (faux Mcqueen) was just a quid from primark reduced from 4 and the little hanger thing is for my necklaces and was £2.00.

Lip Products

Picked up a few cheapo lip colours. Got the purple lippy from the 99p shop and  the other three products are from Mua, going to review these products in full tomorrow :) These are my first products from the Mua range. 

Mua Undressed Palette

After seeing everyone bang on about this I couldn't resist picking it up, i'm going to use it tomorrow so will let you all know what i think :)

Gel Eyeliner

This is another purchase from the 99p shop - i've had a MAC gel eyeliner before and really liked it so always like to try out copy products to see if i can find a beauty bargain :)

Pink Bubbly Vaseline 

I can't resist a gimicky product so also picked up this champagne flavoured Vaseline  actually love this :)

Primark Shirt £12 reduced to £5

Also picked up this cute primarni shirt, at a fiver can't go far wrong!

A weekend in Manchester!

Good Morning Lovelies,

First of all a massive apology for the lack of blogging this weekend; I have been in Manchester for a friend's birthday and literally haven't stopped! 

I did get a chance to wear my gorgeous new green fishtail dress though and found the dog of my dreams. So here are a few picture of what i got up to.

I also have a bit of a cheeky recommendation for you all! :) I have a few Mac make up brushes but am always finding i can never find one when i need one so decided to get a cheapo set off ebay until i can get a new full set of good ones. Obviously they are not Mac quality but they are absolutely fine as a stop gap until i get some good ones. You can buy them here for just £2.68!!!!
