Natural Collection Pink Orchid Lipstick

When i fancy a little lunch time treat I often buy a cheapy Natural Collection product at Boots as everything costs under 2 quid and is pretty good quality for value make up.

This colour is fab and leaves your lips feeling super moisturized! Overall a great bargain product :)

If you buy it from Boots at the moment it's also buy one get one half price so you can get two lipsticks for £3.00.

Mini Polish Haul: Boots and Superdrug

1) Love this, super shiny polish! Perfect for this time of year. This costs £3.99
2) Doesn't really work, supposed to create a pattern if you moved the magnet above the wet polish but didn't. Colour is ok but wouldnt't waste £3.50 on another one.
3) This one was free as most brands are on 3 for 2 at Superdrug at the moment but to be honest isn't that great, just  basic green glitter. No real texture to it.
4) Now this is the ultimate green glitter, i'm a little bit in love with this product. If you already own the Model's Own HedKandi Ibiza Mix it's quite a similar texture but with just green and gold glitters. I'm going to wear it (probably rather a lot) over christmas with a white base.
5) Finally I just picked up another Models Own nail pen in blue which i love, i'm not massively skilled in this area but love doing polka dot nails :)

All Model's Own polishes are on buy one get one half price in Boots at the moment.....

Top Ten Fave High Street Lipsticks!! (and one cheat!!)

1) Ok so it's technically not high street but I couldn't not include my all time fave lippy which is the Mac Viva Glam Gaga. This is a lovely lovely long lasting lipstick and for £14 it's defo worth it.

2) Ok so from high end to the bottom of the basket, i actually picked this Manhattan lipstick up from the 99p shop!!

The colour is Oktoberfest and is the perfect purple for this time of year, the quality of this is also surprisingly good and it stays on your lips to hours and hours.

3) The Kate Moss Rimmel Lipsticks are my ultimate high street lippy so i've included two in this list.  This colour is 02 and is a very rich bright pink colour, you have to be really careful what other make up you put on your face with this as it's such a show stopped. These are £5.49 from Boots! (on the 3 for 2 at the moment :-) )

4) Another Kate Moss lippy this time is shade number 12, this one is a reddy orange and is probably the lipstick i'm wearing the most at the moment.

It isn't anywhere near as orange on the lips as it looks as a swatch/before applied so i've included a photo of me wearing it so you can see what it looks like :)
5) Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee - this is a fab champagney coloured nude. Very glossy look but none of the rank glossy stickiness. You can read a full review on this product here. This retails for £7.99 and is once again on the 3 for 2 at Boots.

6) I am in love with this colour and it was a right bargain, picked this up in New Look for just a quid. The brand is called Colour Pop so if you see it on the till in New look, it's very very alike the Kate Moss one but obviously a fair bit cheaper.

7) Next up is this fab no7 orange shade which i once again picked up at an absolute bargain price for £1.00, lovely lovely product which leaves your lips feeling lovely :) Full review here.

8) This is my fave red red, i say red red because a lot of the red's i own are reddy pink or reddy orange. This is a rimmel moisture renew lipstick in Berry Queen. I wear this lipstick a lot and it retails for about a fiver.

9) This is the cheapest lippy i own and was 45p in the half price sale at the 99p shop (who knew a 99p shop had a sale. This is a very very deep red shade that I'm sure i'll wear a lot more in the winter. I'd never actually purchased a lippy from NYC before but am actually very impressed with the coverage and quality of this product.

10) Last up is my go to every day barely there lippy, this is a Barbara Daly lippy from Tesco and is a pinky colour but is very very subtle. This cost about £6.00.

Thanks for reading, what are you're fave high street lippys?

All That Glitters.... and a HUGE thank you!!!

First of all a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who follows my blog, yesterday I hit the big 3-00 and am literally over the moon :)

Now onto today's post which is about one of my fave things Glittery Nail Polish :)

Here is my collection...

And swatches :) These are in the same order...

My fave is the Model's Own Ibiza Mix, this looks amazing when you put it on top of a base colour.

My least fave is the Glamour Glitter that came free in this month's mag, i've put it next to the Model's own polish and as you can see it looks pretty poor next to it.

My fave bargain is the Primark black glitter which came in a set and worked out at just 50p.

I'm off to buy some new glitters this week so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks for reading, this is only a quick post as I am full of cold and feeling very sorry for myself :(

Thanks for reading.

Lip Of The Day: Revlon Colurburst Lip Butter in Creme Brulee

Looking for the perfect nude?
I love the Revlon Lip Butters generally but couldn't resist sharing this fab colour with you all. It's basically a nude but it fab to use on a night out if you're doing a heavy eyes look.

I love this product - it stays on for ages and leaves your lips feel moisturized, don't feel I need to say a lot more so i'll just share the pics :)

NOTD 101 dalmations!

This is a bit of a strange nails tip basically it involves using nail varnish that has seen better days. I bought this W7 polish of ebay honestly about 18 months ago and it's gone very very cloggy. You can buy it here if you're interested)

But it seems to give a really really thick white based coat now which I struggle to find without piling up about forty coats of polish. I also used the trusty models own nails pet for the spots so here is the finished result :)

Trying To Nail It!!

When i'm bored i tend to enjoy messing around with nail polish!! I recently put a swatch on top of each bottle of polish so they were easy to locate.

So basically this eve I just had a bit of a piss about with some new nail varnish ideas and then i tried a new look on my own nails. So I don't have to keep taking nails on and off I tend to play with new styles on false nails or just bits of paper. I don't have any fake nails left at the moment (waiting for an ebay delivery) so here's some of the messing about I did.

I then had my first idea at using a sponge on my own nails and I am 50% happy with the results.

Basically you paint your nails then sponge different layers of other polishes over the top.

In my case i used a black base and gold and blue over the top. Any one interested in the actual colours I used.

The black is a cheap collection 2000 one.
The gold is rimmel bling.
The blue is Models Own Balearic Cool

Here's a pic

I got the idea here.

Primark Bargain and Bin!!!

Today i called in primark and bought two products - one is fab and the other is quite frankly going in the bin!!

Bargain

When in primark I'm always tempted by the little make up things at the till even though i know deep down most of the products will be quite frankly shit! So today i picked up this little nail varnish set.  And I am so pleased with the results!

So here's some pics :)

Packaging

Swatches

So though I do quite like the other colours the reason i bought this product was for the star gazer. It is a mock product of the Butter Dark Knight which is a polish I have been dying for but just isnt widely available in the UK.

Here is a picture from nailpolishanon.blogspot.com which is one of my fave nail blogs and below is the primark Star Gazer polish.

As you can see it's very very similar, I will post what the other colours look like on my nails as and when i wear them.

The best part about this nail varnish is that i've had it on for 2 days and there currently isn't a chip in it. So basically for 2 quid go out and buy these polishes. You cant even get a sarny for that nowadays!!

BIN

Second Primark product is probably the worst thing I have purchased this year.  I honestly dont have the words to describe how terrible it is and is perfect proof that all that glitters certainly isn't Gold.

Packaging

Basically all this product is is bits of Early Learning Centre Glitter stuck in vaseline it's really really really horrible. So much so I didn't even want to put it on my face, anyway here are some swatches so you can see the "quality" of the product.

So once again a very mixed back from primarni, what do you all think of their make up?
